Terms of Service

Working draft — have a lawyer review before public launch. Last updated: July 2026.

1. What Clip Farming is

Clip Farming is a tool. You choose which publicly broadcast live streams to monitor; the service detects notable moments from public chat activity and lets you create short clips for commentary, criticism, and transformative content creation.

2. Your responsibility for content

Recording is initiated by you and performed at your direction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to create and publish clips of the channels you add — including the rules of any clipping program you participate in, the platform's terms, and applicable copyright law. Clip Farming does not grant you any rights to third-party content.

3. Acceptable use

No harassment content, no republishing full streams, no use of the service to target streamers who have opted out, no attempts to access other users' data, no circumvention of rate limits or plan limits.

4. Streamer opt-out

Any streamer may have their channel blocked platform-wide via the opt-out page. Opt-outs are honored promptly and footage is purged.

5. Your content and data

Clips you export are yours. Raw recorded footage is retained briefly (typically 24–48 hours) and deleted automatically. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Fees are handled by our payment provider; cancellations stop future billing but are not retroactive.

6. No warranty

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost content, missed moments, downtime, or consequences of your use of exported clips.
